Project Lead + Senior Graphic Designer

Lust for Life is a three part poster collection apart of TITLE Magazine's issue 006 Digital Extended Edition. This issue’s theme was Golden Age. I find life golden

I wanted to break down exactly why I have a lust for life. I broke it down into the future, the present, and the past.

Future: Desire

Concept Pitch
I desire this life. When going through pictures to use for this moodboard, I went through my personal Tumblr reblogs that I tagged *. A star that represents what I visualize my future self being/doing/wanting. I want to continue to live to eventually see the day I can make it my reality. I turn my envious comparisons into passionate lust for the life I strive to live. I live to be happy and I want to make pieces to inspire others to find that they can also have a lust for life. Using this piece to start embedding and manifesting this lifestyle for myself.

Final Poster

Present: HUE

Concept Pitch
I’m currently obsessed with gradients. I am obsessed with horse photography. I want to make airbrush type art. This poster will include more brighter, neon colors.I embrace this yellow-green color in my life right now. I want to discuss my relationship with purple or just color though in some way. I also screenwrite so I would love to make a design with a short screenplay literally placed on top to visualize happiness that a color can give to me. Colors give me a lust for life. What else do I find beautiful? What do you feel is beautiful?

Sketching of Type

Designer AJ Walder was given freedom to design the poster for HUE. I designed custom lettering for the title and giving feedback to AJ for revisions.

Final Spread

Past: Begin

Concept Pitch
The great beauties of the world. Appreciating the things in life that have just came so naturally and effortlessly that you don’t give it the time of day but you want to now. More nostaglic feelings in this one. Homage to my childhood and what I thought was cool younger. What kept past Kiva going. Her comfort. Nature and nostaglic. I want to make stickers. Imposed with mother nature’s genius ideas. Using more analog mediums and textures.

Collaging Process

This poster took the direction of a collage as each designer on the team possess different nostaglias. Created a Google Drive folder for team members to upload their own photos, and from there I began collaging.
